From 6 to 10 July 2026, two summer schools - “Network Security” and “Soft Skills” - were held at Poznan University of Technology. The classes were organised under the WERSE project - “Support for European Universities”, 2024 call - funded by the European Union as part of the project “Support for European University Alliances”, reference number FERS.01.05-IP.08-0219/23.

“Soft Skills” Summer School

Students participating in the “Soft Skills” Summer School could attend the following classes:
•    Intercultural Communication
•    Team Building & Effective Listening
•    Body Language, Agreeing and Disagreeing Politely

The classes were taught by lecturers from the Centre for Languages and Communication: Anna Górska, MA, and Izabela Cichocka, MA.

“Network Security” Summer School

The “Network Security” Summer School offered students a wide range of classes, including:
•    L2 Basic Lab
•    Lectures
•    ACLs Laboratory
•    VPN
•    Advanced Firewalls
•    IDS/IPS

The classes were taught by lecturers from the Faculty of Computing and Telecommunications: Prof. Mariusz Głąbowski, PhD, DSc, Joanna Weissenberg, PhD, and Maciej Sobieraj, PhD, DSc.

Students from partner universities of the EUNICE European University participated in the summer schools. We would like to thank them for their commitment and active involvement in the classes.
