The meeting took place in Brussels on 7-8 February. It brought together representatives from 50 higher education alliances, the European Commission and the European Education and Culture Executive Agency.
The Commission provided insights and advice on the Commission's priorities for 2024, i.e. the forthcoming higher education package. An open discussion with the alliances helped to better understand the opportunities and challenges that European Universities alliances are facing. EACEA provided guidance and a clear framework for efficient grant management. Several networking and interaction sessions took place during the event. Alliances also had the opportunity to share good practices in several breakout sessions, creating a participatory space for the exchange of ideas. Representing EUNICE European University, Magdalena Sikorska (Secretary General / AISBL) actively participated in a panel session "Working together as an alliance - opportunities and challenges for different actors involved".
