EUNICE Imagine Innovation Cup 2025

Aleksandra Makiej from PUT has won the final of the EUNICE Imagine Innovation Cup competition!

On 25 April 2025 in sunny Finland, the final of the international start-up idea competition EUNICE Imagine Innovation Cup took place in the welcoming premises of the University of Vaasa (UVA). As part of the competition, students and PhD students from eight partner universities (IPV, KAU, PUT, UC, UMONS, UNICT, UPHF, UVA) had the opportunity to present their business ideas to an international jury. Poznan University of Technology (PUT) was represented by a PhD student from the Faculty of Chemical Technology, Aleksandra Makiej, assisted by Magdalena Regel-Rosocka (a representative of the PUT EUNICE) and Dominika Seifert-Łatka from the PUT Academic Business Incubator.

Among the projects presented, there were very interesting ideas, thematically diverse and responding to current social and technological needs and challenges. After listening to the presentations of the final projects and discussions with the authors of the start-up ideas, the competition jury selected the winners.

We are proud that the first place was won by a representative of our university – Aleksandra Makiej - congratulations! This means that next year PUT will organise the international final of the competition and host teams from EUNICE partner universities.

We would like to thank the EUNICE team from Vaasa for the friendly atmosphere, great organisation and many activities. Congrats to all the finalists!
