The EUNICE Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) Introduction to Global Studies aims to serve as an introduction to this discipline for those who want to have a first contact with this innovative and emerging field. In the context of today’s globalised world, this free online course will help students understand the interrelationships created between actors at different levels (local, national, international) and how they can affect them and the people around them.

This MOOC is a self-study course, so participants can start it any time until the deadline in June and follow it at their own pace.

The course is recommended to: Admin/tech Staff, Bachelor, Master, PhD, Teachers/Researchers with English B2 level

Programme:
•    You can enter the course and learn any time from 17 March until 13 June 2025. After the deadline, the course contents won’t be accessible.
•    There are limited chances to take the tests, so make sure to review all the contents of a module before taking each test.
•    Remember to download your certificate once you’ve finished the course.
•    Self-study contents: this course is designed for you to study at your own pace and doesn’t include any live sessions.

How to join the course?

Anyone interested in global studies can attend this course, regardless of whether they belong to the university community or not.

This course is free of any tuition charges and there is no application form or registration deadline.

You can enter this course by clicking on the ACCESS NOW (from 17 March) button, and then:
•    if you don’t study or work at any of the EUNICE partner universities,  log in via the OTHER USERS option,
•    if you study or work at any of the EUNICE partner universities, log in via the EDUGAIN option using your university´s regular credentials. This will falicilite you the recognition of 3 ECTS.
