General overview and concept of the project
"Exploring the invisible" is a fascinating concept that has been made possible by amazing advances in science. The invisible refers not only to the microscopic world and phenomena that are too small or too fast for us to see with the naked eye, but also to some parts of the macroscopic world too distant to be observed from our backyard. Isn't the desire to discover what cannot be seen a mild form of madness? And yet, the tireless work of generations of craftsmen, technicians and scientists has helped us create phenomenal tools that allow us to go beyond appearances and grasp the basis of everything around us. Surprising worlds, full of beauty and mystery, are revealed to us.
The evolution of artistic techniques goes hand in hand with scientific and technological discoveries, creating a fusion of art and reason. Creativity and imagination mutually drive technological progress, pushing the limits of detection.
The exhibition “The Invisible Unveiled” is an overview of artistic images created as a result of or during scientific research and brings together the work of scientists from the 10 EUNICE partner universities. It is realised within the framework of the REUNICE project, which is a complementary project for the EUNICE European University focused on science.
We invite you to accompany our researchers on this journey into uncharted territory to discover some of the mysteries of our world and contemplate its beauty at every level.
The exhibition can be seen until 30 April in the Lecture Centre of the Poznan University of Technology next to the room 053.
