Two Universities. Two Languages. One Friendship.
Join the German-Polish Seminar and experience international collaboration first-hand!
Are you curious about other cultures, want to meet new people, and learn the basics of a new language?
Then don’t miss your chance to take part in the German-Polish Seminar “Two Universities. Two Languages. One Friendship”, organised jointly by Centre of Languages and Communication (Poznan University of Technology (PUT)) and Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus–Senftenberg (BTU).
What is it about?
This four-day onsite exchange (8–11 December 2025) brings together students from both universities to learn Polish and German at beginner level (A1) and to explore each other’s cultures through fun, interactive activities in Poznań and Cottbus.
The programme combines language workshops, tandem sessions, cultural games, and guided tours, allowing you to use both languages in real-life situations while discovering new perspectives and friendships across borders.
Why join?
- Learn two languages at once – start communicating in basic German and Polish through games, teamwork, and everyday scenarios.
- Discover two cultures – explore both cities, visit museums, taste local food, and experience authentic traditions.
- Meet new friends – build connections with students from BTU and PUT through joint activities and evening events.
- Gain international experience – develop intercultural and communication skills highly valued by employers.
