The second edition of the PUT START UP competition has come to an end!

On January 16, 2025, the final round of the university's start-up idea competition, PUT START UP, took place. The event was organized by the Academic Business Incubator of Poznan University of Technology in cooperation with the European University EUNICE and Politechnika Innowacje Sp. z o.o. As part of the competition, students and doctoral candidates from Poznan University of Technology had the chance to showcase their innovative business ideas.

In the first stage, the jury faced the challenging task of selecting the seven most outstanding projects from 37 submissions. The final projects, presented to the competition jury, featured innovative concepts that were thematically diverse and addressed pressing social and technological challenges. Every finalist, including those who did not place on the podium, deserves commendation for their impressive efforts:

- Nina Mroczkowska, Zuzanna Mroczkowska (Faculty of Management Engineering, PUT)
- Kamil Suwiczak, Patryk Migaj, Jan Chojnacki, Marcin Kaczor (Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications, PUT)
- Yaraslau Bashko (Faculty of Environmental and Energy Engineering, PUT)
After insightful presentations and discussions with the participants, the jury engaged in heated deliberations before selecting the winners.

The winners of the PUT START UP competition are:
1.    Aleksandra Makiej (Faculty of Chemical Technology, PUT) – First Place: PLN 10,000 and participation in the international final of the EUNICE Imagine Innovation Cup in Finland at the University of Vaasa
2.    Michał Kapczyński (Faculty of Chemical Technology, PUT) – Second Place: PLN 5,000
3.    Jakub Sobczuk (Faculty of Information Technology and Telecommunications, PUT) – Third Place: PLN 3,000
