On 18 September 2024, a meeting took place at the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France in Valenciennes, France, between the creators of the EUNICE - English for Academic Purposes IT for Smart& Sustainable Mobility course, Barbara Sawicka, PhD and Dorota Żarnowska, M.Sc., with Daniel Quiroga, EUNICE Mobility Project Coordinator, and his team. The topic of the meeting was the cooperation between Poznan University of Technology Centre of Languages and Communication and the Hauts-de-France University of Technology in the implementation of the language course English for Academic Purposes - IT for Smart& Sustainable Mobility. Technical aspects of delivering the course and further cooperation between the two institutions were discussed.
During the visit, the lecturers met students who will be taking the master IT4SSM EAP course, whose online start is planned on 10 October 2024.

In addition, as part of the Erasmus STA programme, Barbara Sawicka and Dorota Żarnowska gave lectures on intercultural communication and a review of Polish literature. Their aim was to present the possibilities of effective communication in Polish and multicultural environments. A workshop was also held to translate excerpts from Polish poetry into French and English. The classes were held for Prof. Stephanie Schwerter's students from the Translation and Multilingual Literature courses at the Institut Sociétés & Humanités Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France.

The added value of the mobility in the context of the modernisation and internationalisation strategies of both institutions was the exchange of experience and knowledge, the gaining of experience in teaching in a multicultural environment, the promotion of Poznan University of Technology as a leader in EUNICE (European University for Customised Education), the implementation of the EUNICE language course prepared by the staff of the Centre for Languages and Communication for students of the host university and the promotion of Polish culture.
