We would like to invite you to the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) organised by the University of Cantabria (University of Cantabria) as part of the Erasmus+ programme, which will take place during the summer holidays 2023.

The BIP is offered in a hybrid format - consisting of an online part and an on-site part in Spain.  

The on-site part will take place at Menéndez Pelayo International University and the University of Cantabria, in Santander, northern Spain. There will also be cultural activities, including a day trip to the Picos de Europa National Park on 8 July.

The course is taught by professors from the University of Cantabria, as well as from the University of Mons (Belgium), the University of Catania (Italy), Karlstad University (Sweden), the University of Brandenburg (Germany) and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (USA).

Learning outcomes:

•     To understand the concept of globalisation and its different dimensions.
•     Developing a critical spirit and reasoned discussion in global studies topics.
•     Healing conflict, negotiation and collaboration in the field of global studies.
•     Interpreting the interventions of economic and social actors.
